Tokyo-based photographer Yoshiteru Hagiwara was born in Hyogo, Japan in 1987. His journey as a photographer began when he moved to the UK in 2011. While working as a freelance photographer for the fashion and music industries, Hagiwara realised his love for travel. Travelling has become a great passion of Yoshi’s, and sees him spending a third of the year taking pictures in other parts of the world.

“When you think of Tokyo, you would imagine the bright and modern side of it. In these photos, I want to show you the ordinary life in Tokyo, filled with different stories. My photographs explore the faces of Tokyo you might not have seen before.”
