There are always two sides. From any given point of view, there is the sable and the unseeable, the finite and the infinite. In this small garden of forms, we have sown the seeds of our own speculative narrative. A story that skirts the line between the measurable and the immeasurable; the knowable and the miraculous.
"Taste this," she said.
"Delicious," he said, a trickle of juice escaping from the corner of his overstuffed mouth. She laughed and wiped his chin with her thumb.
They each took another bite. "Lots of seeds though," she said.
He nodded and spat a sticky heap of them into the palm of his hand. "I suppose," he said, shrugging, "We have to take the good with the bad," and he flung the pips carelessly into the bushes.
